So what is this that I here with Joe Torre coming out with a new book that pretty much talks about his Yankees days in pinstripes and bashes Alex Rodriguez and Brain Cashman?
Is Joe Torre hard on cash?
Why would Torre come out with this book when he is loved by so many Yankees fans? Why would he want to come out with such a book when he is still a Major league manager? Wouldn't the Dodger players be kind of pissed off too know that thier manager is a bit of a rat?
I understand that Torre did not leave the Yankees on the ups and felt insulted when Brain Cashman gave him a one year deal after his contract had expired in 2007, but at the time I thought it was time for Cashman and the Yankees to move on and part ways, if anything, they were being kind of nice to Torre for even considering him with the lavish one year deal he later declined.
And why continue on with the A-ROD bashing? haven't we seen enough of that from Torre already?
Remember when Torre made A-ROD bat 8th in the playoffs?
Well here it comes again as Joe Torre gets ready to hit the stores with this juicy new book that tell his story while with the Yanks. I'm pretty sure that in this new book Torre will also have alot of good things to say about the Yankees then all this bad stuff we here now. Well at least there should be.
Torre must thank the Yankees for giving him the chance to built his legacy that he has today for giving him the 12 years with the team that he inherited in 1996, which was pretty much a team built to win 4 world series titles. Yes the last few years with the team were years in which the team bombed once they got to the playoffs, but still, if it wasan't for the Yankees, Joe Torre today would just be another average joe.
All this negativaty is pretty much a ploy to sell books or it can be the real thing, that or the New York Yankees were a team of backstabbers and guys that towards the end, did not really like each other at all.

This whole thing just seems odd, why would Torre do this book? Like you said it'll make him look bad and what kind of effect will this have with the Dodgers? Will his players trust him anymore? I think that what has been leaked to the media has been maybe taken out of context, at least that is what he's saying so its hard to really judge until you read the book and make an assessment from that.
Yea I think it's more of the media taking shit out of context.
this don't sound like Joe Torre.
